I think bloggers always have an amazing tech wish list but mine is short and sweet. Ranging from DSLR cameras to nifty compacts, tripods, Ollo clips, wires and headphones – things that make it easier to blog on the road or working from your bed because it’s cold.
Here is mine.
- Olloclip Macro Pro Lens for iPhone 6/6s. I have a lot of close-ups of flowers, I like getting in there to see the smaller details, but there is only so much you can do with a normal lens and a touch of zoom. It comes with Macro 7x, 14x and 21x the latter of which provide 100x magnification when combined with the iPhones own zoom. Nifty macro photography for your Instagram!
- Lumix G compact System Camera DMC-GX8 with the 12-35mm lens in silver, I am in love with my DSLR, it goes everywhere but sometimes I would like to be packing something light, quick and with stunning quality. With the 4k photographic and video capability, this little beauty is a force to be reckoned with and something amateurs and professionals would both enjoy using. It has a slick design and would fit in even the smallest hand luggage, which makes it the perfect travel companion.
- Sennheiser HD800 headphones. Hand assembled in Germany, microfiber ear pads and a natural listening experience makes these beautiful headphones more than just something spectacular to listen to, it makes them a complete innovation and fabulous eye candy. The tagline is ‘Crafted to Perfection’ I’d have to agree.
- iBlzr LED Flash for iPhone, this great little bit of kit comes with its own batteries which can clock up 500 photos before needing to be recharged. Anti red-eye, daylight colour temperature, a companion app, and with a quick touch you can scroll through options and even use the flash in conjunction with your iPhone flash. If all that isn’t enough it comes with a cold shoe mount and can be used with your DSLR. Gorgeous bit of kit.
So there is my current wish list for this year. Small bits of tech that will make a huge difference to my photography and musical experiences.
