My Eldest loves games, so when the chance came up for her to take part in a competition being held by 4DX Games and money-saving website NetVoucherCodes.co.uk she jumped at it. The Plot?
You will play as Black Beardy The Pirate, he has somehow lost all of his treasure! Oh no! Your mission me harty, is to help him collect it all back up, but it won’t be that easy! Black Beardy The Pirate has a nemesis of his own who will try to stop him collecting the treasure back at all costs. Captain Snaps is a giant crocodile, he can hide in caves, water and more – you will never know when he will pop up.
Who?
This is Black Beardy The Pirate, he is who you will be helping to retrieve all of his lost treasure! He has all the trappings of a top pirate, peg-leg, giant pirate sword and of course his very big pirate hat!
This big creature is Captain Snaps, nicknamed because of his huge jaws! His favourite meal is pirates and he hasn’t managed to catch Black Beardy just yet! He will be doing all he can to catch Black Beardy on his travels.
What?
Each level will be a colourful screen, where Black Beardy The Pirate will need to take aim and fire himself into his treasure chests! Each treasure chest is worth the same amount, although the amount of chests may vary depending on the difficulty of the level. Earlier levels will have less chests worth more treasure and later levels have more chests worth less. The aim is to collect 90% of the treasure on each level and the key to unlock the treasure. If you collect 100% of the treasure but no key, you can’t open it!
Each level will have a maximum of 1000 treasure to be collected.
Where?
You might be in the jungle, you might be in the sea, you might be anywhere a Pirate might be!
How?
You can get access to super cool tricks like ‘Super Boost’ and ‘Ride The Wave’. The super boost will entitle you to an extra jump after you have taken aim and landed. if you get to ‘Ride The Wave’, a wave will rush up from behind you and knock down all enemies and objects in your path – ensuring you manage to pick up all your treasure with ease. You can also unlock more levels by getting top scores and clearing the levels.
On each level you will have three tries to get all the treasure so you don’t need to get it all in one go. If you manage to get all the treasure in one go you will get an extra 1000 treasures and unlock a secret level where you can pick up awesome skills and extra treasure!
