If you look at a lot of blogs that are written for women, whether they are mums, teens, 20-somethings, or older, you will find a lot of posts that deal with making yourself more attractive, more appealing, or more sexy. Most often you’ll find links to clothes, cosmetics, or Cosmo articles.
Look, most of us want to feel attractive; however being “attractive” is not something that requires you to blow your budget. It also doesn’t mean that you have to fit anyone’s stereotype of “attractiveness.”
With that in mind here are some of our tips for being more attractive.
- Smart is Sexy
People are naturally drawn to people that are knowledgeable, cultured, and have a curiosity for new things. Take a bit of time to explore things that interest you. Like the film Hidden Figures? Read the book that served as the inspiration for the film. In love with 80’s pop music? Learn more about the artists and their inspiration. Like a nice glass of wine? Learn about the vineyards and what makes “good” wine actually “good.” Learn about natural, holistic herbs and spices. Explore why Banksy’s art is so influential.
Just remember that there is no one definition of “smart.”

- Laugh More
One of the comments you will often here when someone is describing someone they find attractive is that he or she has a “great sense of humour.” A positive, fun outlook on life is contagious and appealing. While it is important to deal with life’s serious issues, it is equally important to balance it out with fun and to keep an optimistic outlook. Take the time to watch a comedic movie or television programme, read fun blogs posts, or just watch a few of the thousands of animal videos on YouTube.
Some people avoid laughing or smiling because they are a bit embarrassed by their smiles. If you are one of those that are keeping your inner spirit bottled up, you might want to explore correcting your smile with invisible braces, which are inexpensive, comfortable, and unobtrusive. There are a number of dentists in London that specialise in invisible braces.

- Work On Your Posture
Having good posture, much like having a good sense of humour, gives you an air of confidence and confidence is very attractive. The easiest and best place, to work on your posture is with your walk. How you walk is a powerful non-verbal indicator as to how you feel. Look straight ahead with your chin up and shoulders back and take strides that are comfortable.
As a bonus having good posture also helps eliminate and lessen back pain and other body aches.
Don’t worry if your posture is not the best at the moment. Since you have lots of opportunities to practice good posture, it will quickly become second nature.

- Have Healthy Skin
Television and print adverts are jam packed with products that are “guaranteed” to make you looked younger, more vibrant or radiant, or one of dozens of other descriptions.
Healthy skin is indeed attractive but you don’t have to blow your budget at Debenhams or House of Fraser to achieve a healthy look. In fact many of the best skin care ingredients are found in your kitchen.
Grapes are full of natural exfoliators. All you need to do is halve a few and rub over clean skin. You can also exfoliate your skin with a paste made of crushed walnuts and yogurt, or coffee grounds and coconut oil.
Olive oil is a great product for removing makeup and dirt. Mixing 2 tablespoons of chickpea flour, ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder, along with pinch of camphor and sandalwood with either milk, rose water, or water makes a great skincare pack.
