National Justice Museum (wild card)
If you are into true crime and a little bit of social history, then the National Justice Museum is right up your lane.
Located in the Lace Market area, it is pretty easy to get to.
You can expect to see prison cells, dungeons, and courtrooms. There are plenty of exhibits that show weapons and some social history. It was known as the Galleries of Justice Museum previously.
You can book ghost tours, cave tours, and they have a range of other special events.

Alchemilla (delectable dining)
If you are looking for an amazing and delicious place to spend some time chatting, then Alchemilla is highly recommended.
Alchemilla sits in the heart of Nottingham and has a wide range of dishes. In 2020 they were awarded their first Michelin star.
What should you order?
At Alechmilla, you have the choice of a 5-course sample menu for £45, 7 courses for £70, or 10 courses for £100. The five courses are not available on Friday’s or Saturday evenings, and the 10 isn’t possible on a Sunday lunch.
You can choose from a vegetarian menu, a pescatarian menu, or a standard. However, a vegan menu is on the horizon.
Note: 12.5% is added to all of the bills.
You can book a table online, but you’ll have to be quick because they are in high demand.
Alchemilla also offers a stunning roof garden, however, the Nyetimber Garden is undergoing some maintenance and will reopen at a later date. Serving up sparking wine, and unique cocktails. The Nottinghamshire Dating has never been so delicious!
Newstead Abbey Gardens (sweet and relaxing)
The gardens are located in Linby Nottinghamshire and are stunning when in bloom.
The estate has a range of gardens, including Spanish gardens, Japanese gardens, sub-tropical, and fern. The Japanese garden is the most popular.
The gardens feature grottos, waterfalls, lakes, and streams. The rose garden that was added in 1960 is a romantic and beautiful feature.
Perfect for a summertime stroll.
