For years, and years, and… you get the point. I always do veganuary. Why? I have no idea. It is a habit I have, to go vegan or vegetarian for months or years and then stop. It just makes it so easy to do it when it is a straight run of 31 days with no pressure.
And even after years of making cheese from fuckin’ minced garlic, tapioca flour and water. I still fuckin’ hate most of the vegans I have ever met. So when in company and vegans or veganism come up, I say -nothing-.
Oh yeah, I will fling you right under the bus if you are trying to be evangelical over fucking pea protein and pigs with feelings.
I don’t think that when it comes to people eating meat, not eating meat, eating ass or not eating ass, it is the job of either a vegan or an ass eater to change the minds of others. Like… why?
Who gave you the mission to transform bacon munchers into beetroot burger worshipers? No one. No one did.
Ha… what’s your beef?
I have a friend who used to wax lyrical about bacon, and she’s currently a thriving vegetarian – just randomly happened. Isn’t that a more powerful change? A more stunning example of – if you leave people the fuck alone, sometimes they just do stuff – rather than bullying them into putting down the Wagyu?
Speaking of Wagyu, I finally got around to buying some last year. It really is like nothing I have ever had in my life. The fat melted like butter into the meat, the meat itself was tender, and it needed nothing more than a pinch of salt. Fucking incredible.
I would highly recommend that if you have the spare change and like good meat treat yourself. I opted for Entrecote Japanese Kagoshima Wagyu A5+. It blew my fucking mind.
Anyway, yeah, veganism. Veganuary.
My tofu game, after all of these years, is impeccable. Crispy, sticky, spicy and tasty.

Although in 2022 there will be no rice for me, sad cause I like it – but that is what happens in life sometimes. I guess god really doesn’t listen to me.
My cooking got better, so my Veganuary is about to be fire.
