This recipe actually has wasabi and honey dressing but frankly I hate wasabi, so I left it out. Another thing was that the Tuna is supposed to be seared and our steaks were too thin (stupid substitutes on shopping) so they weren’t.
So here are some pictures of the making of the salad –
It was a very hearty salad. The meatiness of the Tuna could really have withstood more soy in our opinion, and you could probably have gotten away with a little more vinegar too. It has an incredible punch of flavour with the aniseedy fennel followed swiftly by the smooth honey.
