I have been in a bit of a fudge making mood lately. It’s easy, sweet and makes a great gift. The versatility in flavour combinations help too. This one has a subtle festive spice, crunch from the biscuit, soft chewy raisins and the lovely nougat from the Toblerone. This is another quick one.Toblerone Festive Fudge Recipe:
1 tin of condensed milk 397g 400g Toblerone 4 digestives handful of dried mixed fruit 1 tablespoon allspice 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Break up the Toblerone, and put that, along with your condensed milk in a microwaveable bowl. Microwave for about 3 minutes, stirring half way through.
Chop and crumble your digestives. I left some big chunky pieces and some smaller pieces. Add those, and your mixed dried fruit to your melted Toblerone mix. The crumble of the biscuit breaks up the creaminess of the the fudge pieces. Sprinkle in your allspice and add your vanilla extract. Stir some more.
Once it’s all combined, cover a baking tray in tin foil. Pour in your mixture and give it a shake to smooth it out.
Then use any biscuit crumbs you have left to sprinkle on top of the fudge.
Pop your fudge in the fridge for about 3 hours.
Once set, cut into little triangles and serve with a nice cup of coffee.
