Simply Be Review

A couple of weeks ago I was sent some jazzy threads from Simply Be, they have been spammed all over my instagram while I have tried to get my life together enough to write this post. Post Christmas and New Year it takes me an age to get everything ship-shape again – what about you? Anyway on to the togs…

Skinny Jeans

So let’s start with my absolute faves from, and those are the Chloe Embroidered Step Hem Skinny Jeans

These are fun, funky and very generous in space. It was the first time I have ordered jeans with Simply Be and I was delighted to see that I could probably have sized down easily. I have had so many compliments on these jeans, and wear them at least once a week at the moment.

Next jeans are Lexi High Waist Slim Leg Jean, I love these. They are great value, so stretchy and so so soft. Easy to wear, and go with pretty much anything. My only regret about these is that I didn’t get them in black too!

Velvet Dress

I made a mistake with this dress, it doesn’t suit my body shape at all really. The high neck made my boobs look much lower than that actually sit! However, if I could go back I would opt for a V Neck, nipped in waist velvet dress like this one – Pleated Velvet Dress. I think that’s what is exciting about fashion, not everything you love will love you back. The colours and textures are lovely, but it’s just not for me.

Kimono Top

This is just about as flirty and flattering as a top can get. I have found a similar one in black and I am a bit more in love with the sleeves on this one – AX Paris Statement Sleeve Blouse. The Kimono cut of the top is flattering on my chest and upper arms, while the waist really defines my shape. Big thumbs up!
