In my everyday work, as well as blogging I have been asked countless times about simple design software. Many businesses become associated with their logo, it is part of their identity, their brand. Getting it right can be a long process. So simple logo creation is ideal. I recently tried out Logojoy which is a logo design website to see how it all worked.
Logojoy break simple logo creation down into easy to follow steps:
- Business name
- Pick 5 logo designs you like the look of
- Pick a few colours you like
- Add your slogan
- Add a symbol if you like
- Done! You have so many options to look through.
You can then change the colours, the fonts and spacing of your chosen design. It’s all still very simple and easy to use. I appreciated the large choice of images that were available to choose from. On this occasion I typed in ‘mother’ as I wanted something to represent me on a personal leve,l and was pleasantly surprised to find one with three girls. Perfect.
The smallest package is a neat and affordable $20, which gives you one low res logo. Package three is $65, which comes with:
- High resolution logo
- Vector EPS and SVG files
- Transparent background
- Black / White versions
- Lifetime phone support
- Font names & colours
- Full copyright ownership
- Make changes and re-download
- Print ready
- Brand Guidelines
The step up from there is a $165 package that gives you the addition of an hour with a designer to get your ideas on paper, plus a 40+ social media kit.
I had package two and had a file with 4 different file formats (png, svg, eps and pdf) plus branding guidelines, which will help me ensure everything remains cohesive. The process was quick and easy, I had full control of the product and it was delivered without fuss. I enjoyed the process and have already recommended to a friend who works in a similar field to me.
