Party Outfit for Under £10

IMG_7512.jpg

I have posted a few of my vintage buys in the last few months on my Instagram, I am also an avid charity shop shopper. Although I love stores like Primark, I can often get a better quality item from say Next, Mango, Asos Brands, and M&S from a second-hand shop. An item that perhaps would retail originally between £15-£35 and more is now sitting waiting for a new home. Not only that but picking up clothing like this is environmentally friendly and you are giving money to charity.

I tend to shop with an outfit idea in mind, so that I hit the racks knowing almost what I will be coming home with. I also set myself a budget, usually under £10 for the entire outfit – including accessories and shoes but excluding a bag. So, here is my Party Outfit for Under £10!

It’s a dip hem dress, the front sits just above my knees, which I love, and the finishes up pretty low at the back. I checked online, the dress is still available from Select for £10 in the sale, it comes with a black belt, although I LOVE the random gold one this came with.

The gold chain is super heavy, and came in at £1.99. With the gold belt, zip and necklace it made sense to have really understated shoes. The cut of the dress really calls for heels… and then I saw these.

The ankle boots were a snip and came it at £3.99 and are next. The insides are padded, the heels have very little in the way of obvious use. Ultimately, an outfit that I cannot wait to wear for under £10.
