Budget Basic Pamper Kit Ft. Primark

Pampering means different things to different people. For me, it’s putting a conditioning hair mask on, a facemask and shaving the dry skin off my feet. (oh yeah, beauty ain’t always pretty).

But sometimes that shit seems to be expensive. £35 face masks, hair masks that cost the same as a whole months rent. I like my face, but I don’t know if I like it to that amount of money. Y’know?

There are a couple of things that I like to have around, and I use them whenever I can. That said I cannot even take a shite without someone asking me what I am doing, so I have to be fast (ya, the shit too).

Hair Wrap, Cellulite Roller, Massager, Watermelon Face Pads, Face Cloths

The total for this pack of essentials? The hair wrap is £1.30, Cellulite Roller £1, Massage thingy £1, Watermelon Face Pads £1, and Face Cloths £2.50. So a huge –  £6.80. If you skip the face pads, that is £5.80 for things you can use over and over again.

Everything here apart from the face pads can be used again.

Let’s talk about the cellulite roller? Okay cool. Right so I have always carried a hunk of weight on my thighs, and they ain’t smooth – oh no. This isn’t going to cure cellulite by the way, but it encourages circulation and if you are putting on some body cream using this really helps work it into the skin. Not gonna lie to you here my friends, it feels bloody relaxing.

Face cloths! Okay, so there are a few different types of face masks. If I am going to be using a steam one, I will soak one of these in boiling water, wait for it to cool and slap it on my face. It will deep soak that product into your skin. The same goes if I need a really deep cleanse, I’ll do that first. I also use them to remove makeup, etc. They’re handy, so soft and wash well.

Pink alien looking massager. I’ve been co-sleeping for the last few months, my shoulders are stiff as fuck, and I can give myself a shoulder massage with this. Same as with the roller, it helps me work any product in too. Probably nicer if you get someone to do it for you, but whatever. It also works really nicely on tired calves.

Primark Cellulite Roller

Primark currently has a Watermelon range in, and I love the smell so I thought I would test the pads out. Do I love them? Not a bit. Wish I had got the night mask instead. There isn’t enough product, they aren’t all that soft, and you feel like a dickhead when you have them on.

Hair Wraps are my big love. I usually sleep in a silk headscarf if I have washed my hair that day, stops it getting knotty. But, if I have a hair mask, I pop one of these on to help use the head from my head to get it soaking in. Plus, stops it dripping all over the place.

You can pick these things up to give as gifts, or grab them for yourself. It’s a cheap and effective way to build a kit that you can repeatedly use with your favourite products.
