My camera set up isn’t really ideal to take night sky shots, but a bit of long exposure and we managed to pick up some lovely stars. I was actually star gazing on the night it was recommend would be best for the Persieds. I was lucky enough to see so many firing across the sky. There were little groups of stargazers dotted about too. It was nice to be alone, together in the dark. I must add that there is no parking on the side I walked up at night. As usual I had great fun the the long exposure and moving around the lights. The glow from the city was incredibly bright too.
Sadly I didn’t manage to catch any of the meteors with my camera! Maybe next time!
