Of course, we cannot forget that Easter is just around the corner, which obviously means lots of delicious sweet treats!

Spring is the time we tend to renew our thoughts and ideas, starting with the annual spring clean, because decluttering is definitely a large part of keeping a healthy mind. A tidy desk means a tidy mind, and spring cleaning is the first step, getting rid of old clutter and junk is a brilliant way to feel more in control of your life and your thoughts! Looking forward to those light nights can only mean one thing, and that is, outdoor living. Whether or not it’s buying a new BBQ and enjoying the company of good friends, or perhaps investing in some new garden furniture for those wine nights with the girls, there are many reasons to look forward to spring and it all begins now. Outdoor living is proven to have health benefits, fresh air, space and time to catch up with friends, it’s a definite must if you love the outdoors and socialising. It’s important to keep your garden part of your home, and it can be easy to achieve, even on a budget, as less is more, and the little details are what make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Why not add some fairy lights to your porch, to bring a little magic to your outdoor living. You can also buy some inexpensive cutlery and crockery for your BBQ, and of course some paper straws never go a miss! Planting some herb trees are a lovely way to bring the outdoors indoors and it’s a really healthy way to cook, even for beginners, and it’s straight from your garden, it doesn’t get more fresh than that! Planting some spring flowers, such as daffodils, can be proven to lighten your mood, and of course, make your home look pretty.

Keep on top of your garden as often as possible, to trim your lawns every few weeks with mowers online to avoid it becoming too challenging as gardening is never meant to be overexerting! This means trimming any hedges too as rain and sun combined is the perfect recipe for long hedges. Get rid of any pesky weeds that can make your garden look and feel unattractive, either dig them out from the roots or spray on some weed killer to avoid disappointing weeds poking through. Add a couple of patterned cushions to your outdoor furniture to make it comfortable and cosy on an evening, and add some potted plants for a distinguished look and before you know it, you’ll be ready to take on any party big or small, just in time for spring!
